What guests say

01 / 30
  • We asked Yuzuki for less walking and more food, and that's exactly the day we got. Nothing felt like a package tour.

    Rachel T., London
  • Haruto in Kanazawa knew every artisan by name. Four hours turned into the highlight of two weeks in Japan.

    James P., Melbourne
  • Aoi met us at the station with tea in hand and mapped the whole morning around what we cared about. Felt like wandering with an old friend.

    Michael B., Chicago
  • Tokyo with two teenagers could have been a disaster. Sora read the room and kept everyone happy all day.

    Karen W., Toronto
  • Mei's evening food tour in Osaka took us to places we would never have found, and never dared to enter alone.

    Daniel O., Dublin
  • We wanted a slow day in Kyoto and Ren gave us exactly that — quiet lanes, long stops, no rushing between sights.

    Emily S., Auckland
  • My mother uses a walking stick and Hina adjusted the route without us even having to ask twice.

    Anna H., Manchester
  • Honest pricing, and Kaito was a real local with zero upselling. It felt like walking around with a well-informed friend.

    Chris M., Sydney
  • Yuzuki led the calligraphy session in Kanazawa — the calmest hour of our trip. Our kids still talk about it.

    Laura K., Seattle
  • We were nervous about a private tour being awkward, but it felt like a friend showing us their city. Worth every yen.

    Tom R., Bristol
  • Yuto texted the night before with a weather heads-up and a slightly tweaked meeting point. That kind of care is rare.

    Sophie L., Edinburgh
  • I travel solo and hate forced small talk. Riko matched my energy — chatty when I wanted, quiet when I didn't.

    Mark D., Wellington
  • Yuzuki's tea ceremony in Kanazawa was intimate, unhurried, and explained in plain English. I finally understand why the matcha is whisked.

    Hannah G., Boston
  • We booked three different cities with Aventra and Mio was our guide in each — the quality held up every time. Consistency you can trust.

    David N., Perth
  • Kyoto at golden hour with Tatsuya, who knew the quiet shrines — no crowds, just us and the light. Magical.

    Claire F., Dublin
  • My partner is gluten-free and Nanami handled the food tour without a single hiccup. Every stop had a safe option.

    Ben T., Adelaide
  • I work remotely and slotted a Kanazawa craft walk with Sho between meetings. Fast to book, easy to fit, genuinely restful.

    Olivia M., Austin
  • Akari treated the whole group like old friends by hour two. Even our teenage son was laughing.

    Gareth P., Cardiff
  • Clear price, clear plan, no surprises. After one too many opaque tour companies, Kenji and Aventra were a relief.

    Priya S., Vancouver
  • We changed our start time the morning of and were told it was no problem at all. That flexibility made the day.

    Jack W., Calgary
  • Itsuki's back-street izakaya crawl in Osaka was the most fun I've had travelling in years. We're already planning to return.

    Ruby C., Brighton
  • Haruto sent us a list of every place we visited that evening. Thoughtful, and so useful for the rest of the trip.

    Neil H., Christchurch
  • Two grandparents, two parents, one toddler — and Aoi still made it feel like a private day, not a logistical headache.

    Aisha R., Houston
  • I've taken food tours on four continents. Sora's was the best value and the most genuinely local of any of them.

    Liam O., Galway
  • Booking a private tour sounded indulgent, but splitting four ways with Mei it cost less than a group bus tour. And it was ours.

    Emma J., Newcastle
  • Ren's English was flawless and so was his patience with my endless questions about Japanese history.

    Robert K., Denver
  • Rain threatened the whole day and Hina quietly rerouted us under covered arcades. We barely noticed the weather.

    Grace T., Sacramento
  • From the first message with Kaito to the last goodbye, everything felt handled. I didn't have to chase or confirm anything twice.

    Henry L., Ottawa
  • Sakura tuned the walking pace, the stops, the snacks — it all felt tuned to us, not to a schedule. That's the whole point.

    Megan F., Portland
  • Two of us, eight hours, one brilliant guide. By the end we'd covered more of Tokyo than a week of train-hopping would have.

    Finn A., Brisbane
